Tips for the New Music Producer
Alright, I had someone come up to me a few weeks ago when I was Djing. They were asking me questions about how I create my music. At first, I couldn't decide what to suggest as there are so many available choices. However, after thinking about it for a few days. I came up with these thoughts for a new producer. These are just my opinions. Don’t focus on equipment. It all does the same stuff. It's your approach and style that matter. Be careful who you take advice from, there are many people out there claiming to experts. Listen to the people that have been where you want to go or at least have had some releases under their belt. Focus on the ideas. With so many tools today, everyone can make decent sounding tracks. I think it will continue to be easier for anyone to make music.
