Greece 2000
Greece, a place I have never been to but have always dreamed of going to. I first heard Greece 2000 on Paul Oakenfold’s Tranceport I CD. I had a burned copy from a friend. At the time, burned CDRs from friends were my main source of music discovery. The track stood out to me amongst the other trance classics. It had this haunting breakdown filled in by a hypnotic arpeggio line. Still to this day, it stands out as one of my favorite all time synth lines. I remember driving at night and blasting this track through my Pioneer car CD player. The sound slicing through the warm thick Georgia air. Anyways, this is my take on this trance classic.
